Security Access
Ajera's role-based security is a flexible and sophisticated system
that safeguards your sensitive financial and project data.
The security controls determine what is visible to each user and whether a user
has read-only privileges or read-write access to particular segments of the database.
Unlike other softwares available, Ajera's security levels are built for the A/E industry.
Ajera distinguishes between time entry and time review, so that employees can enter
time, but supervisors and accounting can approve time eliminating duplicate entry.
Ajera can also designate project responsibility so that project managers can access
project related reports and time for only their projects. No matter how your firm
is organized, you can facilitate the appropriate management information and entry
to those that require it.
Ajera's role-based security provides better communication and increases productivity
by allowing all financial and project information to reside in one database and
allow employees to securely access the areas that are important for their job.
Complete Control
Ajera provides default security groups and the capability to customize the settings
to meet your firm's requirements. The security groups define the type of access
given to employees within those groups:
- Control access to reports
- Control entry and edit functions
- Prevent viewing of salary and wage rate information
- Unlimited security groups
A security group can consist of a single employee or a group of employees which
have the same type of access. The security group settings or the employee's security
level can quickly be adjusted so the correct information, access and control is
given to the appropriate employees. Ajera's security controls are flexible and easy
to administer so they can adapt to your firm's growth and changes.
Default Security Groups
To save time, Ajera provides predefined security groups. You can add, delete and
modify these groups to meet your specific needs.
- Administrator - Full Access
- Employee - Time Sheets Only
- Entry Clerks - Access to project information including revenue, profit and
hours - excludes salary and wage rate information
- Project Managers - Access to project information including revenue, profit
and hours - excludes salary and wage rate information
- Principals - Access to view/not edit company and project information
