PORTFOLIO's Project Command Center is a single-point interface that provides immediate
access to all project and resource information. The quick and easy access to the
Project Command Center encourages firm wide adoption of PORTFOLIO. Integrating project,
resource and financial information into one system, with a single access point,
enables firms to successfully manage projects individually or as a portfolio of
projects.

Tasks allows you to build out beyond the work breakdown structure (wbs) and develop

Resources and Scheduling
PORTFOLIO is the only software to give firms the ability to manage resources and
scheduling without tremendous administrative overhead. Resources can be attached
at the appropriate phase or task level directly on the Project Command Center. As
projects progress, project managers have instant access to compare budgets to actual
and depending on security rights, can modify budgets and timelines to maintain accuracy.
Estimating and Budgets
PORTFOLIO's templates support multiple types of estimates to quickly and easily
create project budgets. Starting a new project is as easy as entering the client,
estimating construction and fee percent, then PORTFOLIO does the rest. The default
AIA standard templates are simple and easy to use. To benchmark and estimate future
projects, you can easily evaluate past projects by reviewing the Project Closeout
report.
Consultant Management
PORTFOLIO's consultant management feature easily budgets consultant costs
and fees directly to the project and phases. It allows multiple consultant contracts
for one project and phase, verifies consultant billing to contracted amount, generates
detailed reports, and displays warning alerts to avoid over invoicing by consultants.
Templates
PORTFOLIO is shipped with pre-built templates that can be used as is or modified
to meet unique requirements. Templates allow firms to set naming conventions and
the work breakdown structure - and even establish standards for top-down and bottom-up
estimating. With templates, project managers can focus on managing their projects
effectively, keeping them on time and on budget.
Role-Based Security
PORTFOLIO's powerful and flexible Role-Based Security determines what is visible
to each user and whether a user has read-only privileges or read-write access to
particular segments of the database.

You can now access PORTFOLIO over the internet without the need for terminal services.
